OUR MISSION
Helping to navigate difficulties of your inner world to better cope with problems of the outer world.
OUR STORY
Tangletown Psychotherapy & Assessment Center is a group private practice that provides assessment and therapy to individuals, couples, and families.
We are an eclectic group of providers who have come together to better serve clients by sharing our individual knowledge, skills, and personal experiences. It is our belief that we all function better when working as a collective group, rather than in isolation.
Our clinicians provide a wide variety of services to help our clients improve their lives through the formation of a therapeutic relationship by taking their individual characteristics, history, and personality factors into account.
Internships
at Tangletown PAC
Tangletown Psychotherapy & Assessment Center retains a limited number of training positions for graduate students interested in learning and applying psychodynamic, existential, and relational psychotherapy approaches.
Ideal candidates have an appreciation for complex conceptualization of human experience, interest in understanding and working with (counter)transference in the therapeutic process, and a dedication to understanding one’s personal subjectivity as it manifests in the therapeutic engagement.
We are looking for candidates that are well organized, able to see a minimum of eight patients a week, and in addition to individual supervision, available to participate in group consultation and didactic training.
If you think our training could be a good fit with your personal and professional interests please fill out the form below to get in contact with us.
It is not our job to hold anyone accountable to the people they used to be. It is our job to travel with them between each version and to honor what emerges along the way.
